What is a Renaissance man? The first time I heard this term from a friend, I didn’t grasp the definition. I thought I was an “Antic” man coming from the Middle Ages century. Then I looked at the meaning in the dictionary: “a present-day man who has acquired profound knowledge or proficiency in more than one field”. That summarized pretty well my journey in life.

Early Journey

Born in Switzerland, Hubert's dream of becoming a fighter pilot began at a young age. Not content with just any aviation role, he aspired to join the elite ranks of the Swiss Air Force. His passion for flying led him to start with gliders, and he became the youngest certified pilot in Switzerland, obtaining his license three months before the legal age. He soon added a general aviation license to his accomplishments.

The Road to Fighter Pilot

At 16, Hubert entered the competitive selection process to become a fighter pilot, competing against 3,000 applicants for only six spots. After five grueling years of selection and training, he earned his wings at 22, initially flying the F-5 Tiger and later the F/A-18 Hornet.

High-Performance Beginnings

Hubert rapidly established himself as a leading instructor within the Swiss Air Force, leveraging his tactical acumen as a key member of the Swiss Tactics Development Team. His fervor for aviation and instruction propelled him to engage in numerous international training exercises across France, England, Norway, Italy, and the United States. Hubert pioneered the development of an air-to-air refueling training program for the Swiss Air Force, working in conjunction with international military forces to augment operational readiness. Additionally, in collaboration with his colleague and engineer, Gerry, he co-developed advanced software for the F/A-18 on a global scale.

Leadership and Innovation

Throughout his distinguished career, Hubert spearheaded numerous international training operations as both Commander and Chief Pilot. He found particular enjoyment in night flying missions in Norway and conducting tactical training over the North Sea. His leadership was pivotal in the development of an innovative debriefing system, which was subsequently adopted by US Navy and USMC squadrons. Hubert played a crucial role in introducing and training Swiss pilots in air-to-air refueling techniques, collaborating closely with the French Air Force on this joint operation.

Swiss Liaison Officer

Hubert's career brought him to the United States, where he served as a Swiss Liaison Officer, contributing to numerous international projects involving the F/A-18 for over a decade. During this period, he developed a deep interest in yoga, self-development, and scuba diving. Over the following 14 years, Hubert became a certified yoga instructor, a master scuba diving instructor, an expert technical diver, and a dedicated mentor to young individuals.

Philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and service have always been central to Hubert's life. In 2012, he founded Hanumanity, a nonprofit teaching yoga to people facing difficult times and promoting healthy living in remote areas.

After leaving the Swiss Air Force, he created a coaching practice for Fortune 500 executives, focusing on achieving a high-performance lifestyle with great relationships and health.

Hubert identified a need in his community for skilled craftsmen and reliable pet care, leading to the creation of Tools & Tails Care, a company combining handyman services with pet care.

His lifelong passion for real estate, combined with over three decades of experience in purchasing, remodeling, maintaining, and selling properties internationally, inspired him to establish Realty Solutions Agency.
